The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Central Elliott County in east central Kentucky...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 642 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Culver, or 7 miles east of Sandy Hook, moving east
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Elliott County.
