...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR WEST CENTRAL RANDOLPH, CENTRAL UPSHUR AND EAST CENTRAL
LEWIS COUNTIES...

At 726 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. There are
several reports of swift water rescues and along with significant
flooding of structures.

FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Central Upshur County including the areas
in and around Buckhannon. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS
SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER
GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water
crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways,
streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Buckhannon, Tallmansville, Overhill, French Creek, Ellamore and
Horner.

This includes Route 33 between mile markers 2 and 5...and between
mile markers 15 and 17.
