NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 20 at 6:53PM MST until July 20 at 9:15PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

At 653 PM MST, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain. Between 0.5 and 1.8 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Moson Road between
Charleston Road and HWY 90 is closed.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sierra Vista, Whetstone, Huachuca City and Fort Huachuca.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 305 and 326. Route 92 between mile
markers 322 and 324. Route 82 between mile markers 47 and 60.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Slaughter House Wash, Babocomari River and San Pedro River.
