NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 18 at 8:35PM CDT until July 18 at 10:30PM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 835 PM CDT, a trained weather spotter reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain at the intersection of State Highways 137 and
176. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Midland, Lenorah, Tarzan, Courtney and Stanton Municipal Aiport.
