NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 18 at 4:17PM MST until July 18 at 5:45PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 417 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Ash Fork and Kaibab Estates West.

Interstate 40 between mile markers 141 and 159. Business Interstate
40 near mile marker 146. State Route 89 between mile markers 360 and
363.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Texaco Hillside RV Campground.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Johnson Creek, Meath Wash, Pineveta Wash, Big Chino Wash, Partridge
Creek, Ash Fork Draw and Martin Dam Draw.
