NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 17 at 6:11PM MDT until July 17 at 6:45PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT

At 611 PM MDT, Piute County Emergency Management reported Flash
Flooding and debris flows in upper Bullion Canyon. Flash flooding
continued downstream Bullion Creek but has remained below bridges at
HW 89. Between 0.5 and 0.6 inches of rain have fallen from earlier
thunderstorms. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow
moving through the Bullion Canyon. The debris flow can consist of
rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Silver King Burn
Scar...specifically Bullion Canyon

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around
the Silver King Burn Scar...specifically Bullion Canyon
