Frio River Near Derby affecting Frio County.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Sabinal at Sabinal.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Lowland flooding damages crops and floods
pastureland cutting off and potentially drowning livestock in low
areas of the flood plain. Secondary roads and low bridges flood
severely as the flood wave passes downstream.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Thursday was 23.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage just after
midnight tonight to 8.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will then
rise to 9.9 feet tomorrow afternoon. It will fall to below
flood stage by Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
