* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Pedernales River at Johnson City.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Major flooding makes secondary and primary
roads below Stonewall to Lake Travis very dangerous. Low park
areas downstream in Pedernales Falls State Park flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 24.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 10.6 feet Tuesday
evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
