The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 600 PM MST.
* At 304 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen, centered from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base across
the south side of Tucson. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Tucson, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Drexel Heights, South Tucson,
Tucson International Airport and Rita Ranch.

markers 168 and 171. Interstate 10 between mile markers 259 and 271.

Harrison Rd at Pantano Wash, Escalante Rd at Atterbury Wash and
Drexel Rd east of Alvernon Way.
This includes the following streams and drainages...
West Branch Santa Cruz River, Chico, Arroyo, Santa Cruz River,
Tanque Verde Wash, Pantano Wash and Rillito River.
