...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County.

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Disastrous widespread lowland flooding
reaches several homes in Crystal City. Roads, fencing, and any
improvements in the flood plain are damaged. Flow is generally 1/2
mile wide in the flood plain and livestock should be moved from
vulnerable areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 21.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 22.2 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall tomorrow evening. It will
rise to 19.6 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall
below flood stage Friday evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
23.3 feet on 09/01/1932.
