NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 16 at 6:35PM CDT until July 16 at 8:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 635 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Flooding has been reported in Warrensburg and
Sedalia. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sedalia, Warrensburg, Knob Noster, Whiteman Air Force Base, La
Monte, Smithton, Whiteman Afb, Hughesville and Sedalia Memorial
Arpt.
