The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Uvalde County in south central Texas...

* Until midnight CDT tonight.

* At 354 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Between 10 and 20 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Nearly
all major arteries of highways and roads are closed or
impassable in the county. Travel across Uvalde County
is discouraged.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Uvalde, Sabinal, Knippa, Concan, Reagan Wells, Uvalde Estates,
Garner State Park, Laguna, Montell, Blewett, Cline, Utopia and
Dabney.
