NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 16 at 12:58PM CDT until July 16 at 4:30PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 1258 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding across
the warned area. Between 3 and 12 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned
area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Roads were flooded at
Lost Maples State Natural Area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Vanderpool, Hunt, Kerr Wildlife Management Area, Lost Maples State
Natural Area, Mountain Home and Rio Frio.
