The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Eastern Medina County in south central Texas...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 1137 AM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding.
There have been high water rescues and many flooded roads. Between
3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen today after around 10 inches
Tuesday. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Devine, Castroville, Lytle, Natalia, Lacoste, Bader, Dunlay,
Quihi, Noonan, Pearson, Rio Medina, New Fountain, Biry, Mico,
Cliff, Lakehills, Government Canyon State Natural Area, Bigfoot
and Lake Medina Shores.
