DVIDS (CENTCOM / DoD): CENTCOM Conducts Morning Round of Strikes Against Iran

TAMPA, Fla. - U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) completed a morning round of strikes against Iran at 7:30 a.m. ET on July 15.
CENTCOM launched precision munitions against coastal defense systems and cruise missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island during the 90-minute wave. The strikes further degraded Iranโs ability to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
U.S. fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels launched precision munitions against Iranian missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems.
Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) via Iranian state-run media: "IRGC has announced that the second wave of Operation Nasr-2 struck multiple weapons storage facilities, a satellite communications hub, and US military housing in Bahrain."
