NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 13 at 3:17PM MST until July 13 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ

At 317 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain over the Pocket Fire Scar. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Pocket Fire Scar.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Pocket Fire Scar.

Sedona, Slide Rock State Park, Edge of the World, East Pocket
Lookout Tower, Fernow Cabin, Uptown Sedona, Red Rock-Secret
Mountain Wilderness, Indian Gardens and West Fork of Oak Creek.

This includes the following highways...
State Route 179 near mile marker 313. State Route 89A between mile
markers 367 and 368...and between mile markers 374 and 385.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
Manzanita Campground and Cave Springs Campground.

This includes the following swimming holes...
Slide Rock, Encinoso, Grasshopper Point and Midgely Bridge.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Oak Creek, Dry Creek and West Fork Oak Creek.
