NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 10 at 11:43PM CDT until July 11 at 5:15AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

At 1143 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain and flash flooding in Livingston County
Kentucky. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the warned
area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Metropolis, Marion, Vienna, Rosiclare, Goreville, Brookport, Salem,
Dongola, Golconda, Dixon Springs, Joy, Burna, New Columbia,
Ledbetter, Lake Of Egypt Area, Joppa, Cave-in-Rock, Smithland and
Elizabethtown.
