* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
county, Harrison and central Kentucky, including the following
county, Jefferson.
* WHEN...Until 830 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 712 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Louisville, Shively, Valley Station, Pleasure Ridge Park,
Pleasure Ridge Par, St. Dennis, Fairdale, Elizabeth, New
Middletown and New Amsterdam.
