NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 10 at 3:40PM CDT until July 10 at 8:30PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 340 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Street flooding
was reported in Bethany.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
