The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Western St. Marys County in southern Maryland...
South central Charles County in southern Maryland...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 613 PM EDT, a confirmed waterspout was located just offshore
near Wicomico River, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed waterspout moving onshore.

IMPACT...For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown,
flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur.
Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is
likely.

* This tornado will remain over mainly rural areas of western St.
Marys and south central Charles Counties, including the following
locations... Rock Point, Issue, and Cobb Island.
