with heat index values up to 111. For the Heat Advisory, heat index
values up to 109 expected.

* WHERE...In North Carolina, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover,
Coastal Pender, Inland Brunswick, Inland New Hanover, and Inland
Pender Counties. In South Carolina, Central Horry, Coastal
Georgetown, Coastal Horry, and Inland Georgetown Counties.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening.
For the Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.
