...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND AGAIN ON
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING OVER IDAHO ZONES...

.Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop near the
southeast Oregon over the southern Grasslands and southern Idaho
south of the Snake Basin to the Nevada border this afternoon.
Expect gusty and erratic winds up to 50 mph in the vicinity of
these thunderstorms. Similiar conditions expected over the Idaho
zones 423 and 426 on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Red Flag
Warning for lightning, which is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT
Wednesday.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee
Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands.

* TIMING...For the first Red Flag Warning, until 9 PM MDT this
evening. For the second Red Flag Warning, from 1 PM to 8 PM
MDT Wednesday.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered coverage with abundant lightning.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusty erratic winds up to 50 to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
