NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 7 at 5:52PM CDT until July 7 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA

At 552 PM CDT, the public reported flash flooding across portions of
the warned area as a result of heavy rain. While the heavy rain has
ended, lingering flooding continues to pose a threat. Please avoid
flooded areas and continue to heed any road closures.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
New Orleans, Harvey, Chalmette, Gretna, Arabi and Terrytown.
