NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 7 at 4:49PM EDT until July 7 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

At 449 PM EDT, Local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
Corbin. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall is ongoing across the warned area. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Moore Hill, North Corbin, Woodbine, Dorthae, Barton, Gray, Bertha
Station, Rossland and Corbin.

Master Street is currently closed in Corbin due to flooding.
