NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 6 at 9:37PM EDT until July 6 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

At 937 PM EDT, Widespread heavy rainfall has ended. Moderate rain
and continued drainage of floodwater will persist the risk of flash
flooding as creeks and streams begin to crest. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 of
an inch are possible in the warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, RDU
International, Morrisville, Knightdale, Wendell, Rolesville, Falls
Lake Boat Ramp, William B Umstead State Park, Flowers, Falls Lake,
Emit, Research Triangle, Carpenter and Jordan Lake.
