NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 6 at 8:49PM EDT until July 6 at 11:15PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC

At 849 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Harleyville, Cross, Black Creek, Hussertown, Sandridge, Moorefield,
Ebenezer, Spring Hill, Prioleau and Francis Beidler Forest.

At 846 PM, Berkeley County Emergency Management reported water over
HWY 6 and Ranger Drive in Cross, SC.
