NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 6 at 6:32PM CDT until July 6 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

At 631 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Syre, or 31 miles northwest of Detroit Lakes, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Locations impacted include...
Mahnomen, Twin Valley, Flom, Faith, and Syre.
