NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued July 6 at 5:16PM CDT until July 6 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Grand Forks ND

At 515 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Winger, or 42 miles south of Thief River Falls,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. At 5:10 pm, a funnel cloud was
reported near Winger.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
