NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 6 at 4:37PM EDT until July 6 at 8:15PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

At 437 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain with a vehicle stranded on a flooded roadway in
Milford. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 1.5 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Dover, Milford, Bowers, Big Stone Beach, Dover Base Housing,
Rising Sun-Lebanon, Rising Sun, Frederica, Magnolia, Little Creek,
Riverview and Woodside East.
