NWS / NOAA weather: Flood Warning issued July 5 at 1:21AM MDT until July 5 at 4:15AM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 415 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings
are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 120 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
with very heavy rainfall across the warned area late Saturday
evening. Between 1.25 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Central Chaves County.
- Low water crossings along New Mexico Road 249 east of Hagerman
may become impassable tonight. Flood waters will be difficult to
see at night.
