Illinois...

Thorn Creek at Thornton affecting Cook County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecasted to continue.

* WHERE...Thorn Creek from Near Glenwood downstream to confluence
with Little Calumet River, including the Thornton gauge.

* WHEN...Until Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Parking lots threatened at Glenwood
Academy.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river appears to be cresting and is forecasted
to fall below flood stage late Sunday. However, additional
rainfall today may cause river levels to rise again.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
