NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 4 at 4:51PM EDT until July 4 at 6:45PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV

At 451 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms having produced
heavy rain within the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. The heaviest of the rain had ended. Flash flooding had
not yet been reported, but may begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Looneyville, Walton, Gandeeville and Tariff.
