NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 4 at 3:32PM CDT until July 4 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Chicago IL

At 332 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that the heaviest rainfall had moved out of the area. Additional
showers may continue for the next hour with little accumulation
expected. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen from earlier storms.
Flooding is expected to continue for the next several hours.

HAZARD...Flash flooding.

IMPACT...Rapid-onset flooding of creeks, streams, drainage
ditches, streets, underpasses, low-lying areas, and
other poor drainage areas.

DeKalb, Sandwich, Mendota, Sheridan, Shabbona, Lake Holiday,
Hinckley, Somonauk, Earlville, Waterman, Leland, Paw Paw,
Millington, Lee, Compton, West Brooklyn, Harding and Triumph.
