NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 4 at 1:59PM CDT until July 4 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

At 159 PM CDT, the public reported flash flooding in the
Harrisonville area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Public reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Warrensburg, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Windsor, Knob Noster,
Holden, Garden City, Whiteman Air Force Base, Leeton, Calhoun,
Creighton, Chilhowee, East Lynne, Kingsville, Baldwin Park,
Whiteman Afb, Centerview and Strasburg.
