* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois,
including the following counties, in north central Illinois, De
Kalb. In northeast Illinois, DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will.
* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may
be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 549 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen which
has led to creeks and streams rising out of their banks and
water on some roadways.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Aurora, Naperville, Wheaton, Downers Grove, Elmhurst,
Lombard, Carol Stream, Addison, Glendale Heights, St.
Charles, Oswego, Glen Ellyn, West Chicago, Batavia, Geneva,
Franklin Park, Yorkville, Plano, Oak Brook and Sandwich.
