NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 3 at 3:44AM CDT until July 3 at 5:30AM CDT by NWS Sioux Falls SD

At 344 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain are moving out of the warned area.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. While no additional
rainfall is expected, flooding impacts will continue as water slowly
recedes.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying
areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sioux City, South Sioux City and North Sioux City.

At 2:20 AM CDT, the public reported water over the curb in 1400 block
of B Street in South Sioux City.
