NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 2 at 5:24AM CDT until July 2 at 7:30AM CDT by NWS La Crosse WI

At 524 AM CDT, emergency management reported flooding resulting in
closed roads and difficult travel in Mower County. Between 2 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Austin, La Crescent, Caledonia, Preston, Chatfield, Spring Valley,
Rushford, Grand Meadow, Harmony, Houston, Adams, Lanesboro,
Brownsdale, Hokah, Brownsville, Wykoff, Fountain, Rose Creek,
Rushford Village and Washington.

This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 175 and
204.
