NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued July 1 at 10:02PM EDT until July 1 at 11:30PM EDT by NWS Binghamton NY

At 1002 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement closed a road.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Oneida, New Hartford, New York Mills, Stockbridge, Augusta,
Clinton, Waterville, Bridgewater, Clayville, Clark Mills,
Kirkland, Paris, Oriskany Falls, Munnsville, Hubbard Corners,
Stockwell, Chadwicks, Vernon Center and Sauquoit.
