* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to
110 expected.

* WHERE...Litchfield county in Connecticut, southern Berkshire
county in Massachusetts, Bennington and eastern Windham counties
in Vermont, and in eastern New York the following counties:
southern Herkimer, southern Fulton, Montgomery, Schoharie, Albany,
Schenectady, Saratoga, southeast Warren, Washington, Rensselaer,
Columbia, eastern Greene, Dutchess, and Ulster.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be little to no relief at night,
with low temperatures in the 70s along with humid conditions
persisting across much of the area tonight.
