NWS / NOAA weather: Flash Flood Warning issued June 30 at 11:26PM CDT until July 1 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Lubbock TX

At 1126 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1
and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue,
but very little additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is
already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Lubbock, Texas Tech University, Downtown Lubbock, Lubbock South
Plains Mall, Woodrow, Lubbock International Airport and Lubbock
Science Spectrum.
