The National Weather Service in Spokane has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Pend Oreille County in northeastern Washington...
Northeastern Stevens County in northeastern Washington...

* Until 1045 PM PDT.

* At 929 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to
0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Colville, Ione, Little Pend Oreille Lakes Campground, Tiger, Lost
Creek, Arden and Orin.
