NWS / NOAA weather: Tornado Warning issued June 29 at 3:41PM CDT until June 29 at 4:00PM CDT by NWS Bismarck ND
At 341 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Mandan, moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. This storm has already produced
golf ball size hail in northern portions of Mandan.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Baldwin, Fort Abraham Lincoln State
Park, Mcdowell Dam Recreation Area and Double Ditch Indian Village.
